Game Idea: Saints Row 5 Wish List

Replaying Saints Row 4 on its Switch port made me realise again how much I enjoy this franchise. While some may not like the over the top nature of the series now I find it really enjoyable and gives Saints Row a unique selling point in the genre of games. With rumours going around to expect Saints Row 5 at some point in 2021 I have begun thinking in what my ideal version of this game would be even some parts I would like to see. With the game alleged to be deep in development I have to wonder what path they will take. Personally, I hope that Saints Row continues in this over the top nature and with the power of the console it will be on we can hope for the biggest map and some extras with this I think Saints Row 5 is set up to be the biggest entry to the series and is brimming with potential to be the most over the top and fun filled entry in the series. Setting Taking place post Gat out of Hell we resume from the ending where a new world is found to help begin the human race anew

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Legendary Pokémon

A group of Pokémon so incredibly rare that only one of them is ever really seen and when they are rank so some of the most powerful Pokémon in the world the legendary Pokémon are some of the most recognisable with a fair few being on the box art for games. With 52 Pokémon being classified as legendary to makes up a decent percentage of the Pokédex. While I won't be considering Ultra Beasts (I may do a list for them I am not sure I don't like the majority of them) there is still a fair few to rank. To begin with, the honourable mentions are as followed. Honourable Mentions: Zapdos, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Kyogre, Groudon, Groudon, Reshiram, Yveltal, Type: Null, Necrozma, Zamazenta, Eternatus, Urshifu Each of those listed in the honourable mentions I like the design somewhat but not enough to break into the top six. So with that in mind the top six is as follows. Number Six: Zekrom The cover Pokémon for generation fives white version, the Pokémon version of Red Eyes Black D

Quick Thoughts: AEW Double or Nothing 2020

In times like this it seems weird to even talk about live wrestling. Personally if down to me I would say we do not need live wrestling at the moment, I know they are doing testing before shows but we are in the middle of a pandemic and people's health should be taken into consideration. Now am I being a hypocrite watching this show after saying we should be having wrestling shows during a pandemic? Yeah probably but oh well, 2020 started off strong for AEW but hit by the COVID-19 outbreak worldwide they have made the best of the bad hand (regardless of opinions on shows running) and produced some good content moving onto the PPV, a solid card on paper it was interesting to see how it would shape up. An empty arena PPV will be different to an empty arena weekly show. I really like the set really fit the theme of the show and how it was used throughout the show some good spots incorporated the poker chips and even the poker table it was fund and I enjoyed it, it made the shows nam

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Fossil Pokémon

When it comes to Pokémon games they are very much set in the present time while we only get mentions of the creations of the Poké Ball and the beginnings of the Pokédex we are rarely treated to the past which is why the Fossil Pokémon are so interested. Resurrected from a time long since forgotten these Pokémon are glimpse into the prehistoric times of the Pokémon world. While not large in numbers and not in every generation keeping these fossils scarce (and honestly there's enough Dinosaurs to make more so please get on it) the following are classified as the Fossil Pokémon. Generation 1: Omastar, Kabutops & Aerodactyl Generation 3: Cradily & Armaldo Generation 4: Rampardos & Bastiodon Generation 5: Carracosta & Archeops Generation 6: Tyrantrum & Aurorus Generation 8: Dracozolt, Arctozolt, Dracovish & Arctovish Each of these have different designs that show us some extinct Pokémon and honestly leave me wanting more and maybe even a generation

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Early Route Mammal Pokémon

In the final of three posts dedicated to the early routes and their Pokémon we reach the mammals. Usually a normal type Pokémon (with some generations throwing in a Dark type Pokémon as well). These early game mammals are normally used for a lot of HMs (at least in the early games) and aren't really the strongest but can prove useful until you get more powerful Pokémon to join your team. The following Pokémon have been considered for this list: Generation One: Raticate Generation Two: Furret Generation Three: Mightyena & Linoone Generation Four: Bibarel Generation Five: Watchog, Stoutland, Liepard Generation Six: Diggersby Generation Seven: Gumshoos Generation Eight: Greedent, Thievul, Dubwool While each generation changes the amount of early mammals it gives a wide variety to choose from with each generation varying between one to three that can fall into this category. With that being said the list is as follows.  Number Six: Diggersby Starting with the

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Early Route Bird Pokémon

As with the bug Pokémon the early routes of Pokémon games always include at least one bird Pokémon. With the majority being a normal flying duel type in the early days they were seen as the perfect HM slave to fly the player from destination to destination but some of these Pokémon deserve more love than that. For this list the following Pokémon were considered: Generation One:  Pidgeot & Fearow Generation Two:  Noctowl Generation Three:  Swellow & Pelipper Generation Four:  Staraptor Generation Five:  Unfezant Generation Six:  Talonflame Generation Seven:  Toucannon Generation Eight: Corviknight Number Six: Pelipper The mystery dungeon mailman kicks this list off. The only water type Pokémon on this list Pelipper can be found early on in generation three and has a fun design. It's massive bill is a nice catch and makes sense with the pelican inspiration. Pelipper as a Pokémon is burned into my memory they always used protect during my Sapphire playthrough for w

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Early Route Bug Pokémon

Each Pokémon can be said to follow a similar pattern. Once given your starter the first few routes introduce to a familiar set of Pokémon. It will include a combination of Mammal, Bird & Bug based Pokémon for the player to catch early doors to build at least an initial team with their high catch rates to ease new players into the game. While I will look over each set one at a time today I want to focus on the Bug set. Normally a fast levelling Pokémon these early game bugs look to give the player a taste of what evolution can do for a Pokémon in terms of stats, appearance and what moves it can learn. For this the following bug Pokémon were considered for the list as per the generation they were introduced. Generation One: Butterfree & Beedrill Generation Two: Ledian & Ariados Generation Three: Beautifly & Dustox Generation Four: Kricketune Generation Five: Leavanny & Scolipede Generation Six: Vivillon Generation Seven: Vikavolt Generation Eight: Orb

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon

Back again with more topics for Pokémon to rank my favourite six of this time featuring the Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon. For those unfamiliar with the term 'Pseudo-Legendary' it refers to Pokémon who at three stages of evolution and at level 100 have a base stat total of 600 making them some of the most powerful Pokémon that aren't legendary, with 'pseudo' meaning fake these Pokémon are in a sense fake legendaries due their high stats. Normally local at the end of their debut regions Pokédex these Pokémon all look to pack a punch and while difficult to train the rewards justify that hard work trainers put in. With one per generation introduced (with Generation 3 being an exception introducing two Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon into the mix) it limits the Pokémon I am choosing from which helps compared to a full generation. However, over the years I have come to love all of these designs which mainly comes down to using these Pokémon in teams during playthroughs and seeing th

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Fire Starter Final Evolutions

In the final of three countdowns of starter evolutions we come to my personal favourite and preferential choice in the fire type. This list has proven difficult as I hold a lot of these Pokémon in high regard so it made choosing the top six and what order they go in much harder. For the first time in doing this I can say all eight were considered for the list at some point. So with that all in mind the top six are as follows. This one was a real struggle the two missing from the list in Typhlosion and Infernape are also really good designs and really narrowly missed out. This is the only one of these starter lists where the order has been changed and debated the rest went really straight forward but that this proved the most difficult which is a testament to the great designs on offer for the fire starters. Number Six:  Delphox To some a controversial pick and considering how high I was on Greninja last time out you'd be forgiven thinking I do not rate Delphox highly. However, i

Favourite Pokémon: Top Six Water Starter Final Evolutions

Back with the second of these three starter lists and these get more difficult with each ranking. This time we are looking at the water type starters and each ones respective final evolution. As much a foil as a fire starter main as they get a lot of these Pokémon in the end begrudgingly gained my respect after hitting my fire types with super effective moves if I had not alternative left to play. With that being said I like these starters a lot more overall than the Grass one so this made for a list that holds more favourites for me. With that said here is the list of my top six for the water starters. Number Six: Swampert Kicking off the list is Swampert. The water ground type of generation three always has an interesting design, however, I really prefer the mega evolution. The definition of a heavy hitter Swampert looks like it would punch you to death, I kinda wanna see one fight Tomohiro Ishii they'd punch the hell out of each other. What I'm saying is Mega Swampert loo

Anime Rework - Inazuma Eleven Ares

When it came to the reboot of Inazuma Eleven I had a mixed response to it. While I liked the new characters bought through and felt the story had potential it felt held down by old characters being used, unlike GO where they were used as older and didn't effect the matches in Ares they were a featured point which I felt held down a lot of new characters. I wanted to today work on a revamp to the show. It should be stated I wouldn't be handcuffed to the small schedule that Ares and then Orion had so I would be allowed more time to flesh characters out it gives the show more time to connect with more characters. Premise I would set the show initially 10 years into the future. The show would begin in the final match of the group stage of the Football Frontier International proceeding this seasons tournament with Japan taking on Spain. This match would take the place of the Raimon vs. Barcelona Orb match with the same result except this time a young Clario Orvan dominates the ga
