Quick Thoughts: AEW All Out 2021
AEW is a company going places, ranking top of its demo ratings, getting a new show on Fridays doing the same, bringing CM Punk back, making Triple H cry it's all good stuff. All Out comes at a time where it needs to be a good show to continue to upward swing of momentum AEW has had since crowds have some back. Breaking it down match by match I wanted to see if they were able to continue the wave a great matches and moments (spoiler they did).
Buy In: Best Friends & Jurassic Express vs. The Hardy Family Office
A lot addition to the card with PAC and Andrade not being able to take place at the PPV. This was a fund buy in match wit ha bunch of over guys to help build on a TV feud. Really did enjoy the line of submissions but I do wonder what the HFO will do about the tag belts with The Butcher back and having 3 teams. Regardless the right team won interested to see where Best Friends vs. HFO goes from here.
TNT Championship Match: Miro (c) vs. Eddie Kingston
A great physical match the open the show. Miro has been on fire and has Eddie Kingston its a red hot and the two went in to beat the hell out of each other. I very much liked the finish Miro had to cheat to win it wasn't clean which indicates to me the feud will continue most likely with another match at Arthur Ashe but it certainly was the correct match to start I am very interested in how the feud continues but man two tremendous talents both always a highlight of AEW's weekly programs.
Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima
Jon Moxley continues his war against Japan as the leader of Bread Club comes though the forbidden door. Kojima has been on a bit of a run this year more than the rest of the New Japan Dads starting the year with a singles match in the Tokyo Dome against KENTA and now coming over to fight Mox. I found this to be a perfectly fine match as enjoyable as you'd expect. However, Kaze Ni Nare hits and out comes Minoru Suzuki and I lose my mind. Suzuki in AEW this is the sort of thing the Forbidden Door is made for great matches between companies happening at a moments notice. Forget about Samoa Joe and his nonsensical ramblings about how its a bad for business (despite his greatest match coming from an interpromotional match with NOAH's Kenta Kobashi) the forbidden door is a concept that keeps giving.

Women's Championship Match: Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D (c) vs. Kris Statlander
How good is Britt Baker? I think as a whole package she could be one of the best women's wrestlers in the world today. But for how good she is Kris Statlander has been on a hell of a run since returning from injury. Both women brought it with the right winner. Statlander's time will come but you can't keep the belt off of Baker this year imo, I am ready for Baker and Rosa to fight for the belt next year some point will be a classic. Great match by both and I imagine they'll only get better.

Tag Championship Match: Young Bucks (c) vs. Lucha Bros
Might as well just start by saying this was the greatest tag team match I have ever seen. That was the greatest steel cage match I have ever seen. I don't know what I can add to this. The Lucha Bros cement their place as the great rivals to the Young Bucks over The Motor City Machine Guns. The Young Bucks with yet another phenomenal match and once they retire will be referred to as one of if not the greatest tag team of all time. Fenix one of the best wrestlers in the world and it was great to see Penta get a big moment with his family. I can describe what I saw move for move it was phenomenal. Two of the best tag teams in the world right now. Now how about AEW repeats Impact's Full Metal Mayhem match between The Lucha Bros vs. Proud and Powerful. Match of the night, match of the year, the greatest match in tag team wrestler, how can you say tag team wrestling isn't a draw man. Watch this match.
Women's Casino Battle Royale
Someone needs to help layout this battle royales for me, they aren't bad but they aren't great either. Look I'll be honest barring the 1992 Rumble I don't think a lot of rumbles or battle royales are great. Regardless Ruby Soho as the joker with the Rancid song is great and a great addition so many fresh matches for her and as well as the recently added Jamie Hayter. Ruby & Thunder as the final two is great and I would love them to have a match one on one at some point that would be superb. It's nice to have the joker win one of these again the first since Hangman in the first one so it keeps the idea they can win on their debut alive. Ruby vs. Britt would be a great Arthur Ashe match and hopefully Rampage allows for more stories for women to develop. Between TayJay, Ford & The Bunny and you could always add Red Kings (Red Velvet & KiLynn King) after their run on NWA EmPowerrr you could have the basis for some Women's Tag Titles providing you add more to it like having Diamante & Kiera Hogan team up and bring back their team from Women of Wrestling, just a thought.
Chris Jericho vs. MJF
Loved the MJF swerve entrance the man is a star and a future world champion. This match really picked up towards the end and it was glad to see Jericho win. I was fully behind him winning after he threatened to become a full time commentator. I felt this match was better than the Dynamite match and I am interested to what you do with both now as this has to be the end of the Inner Circle vs. Pinnacle right? Either way a good match and a nice end to a feud which has given us a lot with the best of that being Nick Gage on TV.

CM Punk vs. Darby Allin
Who would've thought we could talk about another CM Punk match or just CM Punk in wrestling it's still mad to me. But man It felt like he hasn't missed a beat in those 7 years. It seems like a dream to see CM Punk wrestle again and while the attire will take a little bit of getting use to nothing should be taken away from Darby Allin who doesn't lose a thing in defeat here. This match was testament in how to have both men win despite one man losing as both looked great and really it was just that one move that separated them. What can I say about this match it was the biggest test of CM Punk's wrestling career, can he still go at the level he previously could and well yeah he can. An Elite talent and I am very interested where both go now.

QT Marshall vs. No More BS Paul Wight
A perfectly fine quick match for No More BS Paul Wight, this really served its purpose as a break between two massive matches. QT serves his purpose well in getting beaten up Paul Wight put an end to his BS and in the end No More BS reigns supreme.

AEW World Championship Match: Kenny Omega (c) vs. Christian Cage
I feel sorry for Christian. A great professional who really was put in a spot many people thought would be Hangman. The match was as good as you'd expect it to be, I do hope above anything else Christian is fine after that table bump didn't work as planned and seemed to hurt his ribs. If anything this was a step up from their Rampage match in part in line with the higher stakes. A good match but that is what you would expect from these two. I really liked the avalanche One Winged Angel a good end to the match for a main event of a PPV. Both men have been on a role so I imagine a lot of people are waiting for Christian to beat up Jungle Boy but that might be a little while away. Omega is on a roll but you can tell he is ready for a rest it has to be Hangman winning at Full Gear, we have 2 months to build it so I live in hope but man what a great run for Omega and another great match for the record books not his best defence that goes to the Fenix match in my opinion but great nonetheless.

However, the post match shenanigans are the main thing and what I keep watching. The debuts of Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson is such a power move. Adam Cole literally is such a sudden move it seems like a month ago everyone thought he was locked up for years and here he is. I love it out comes Adam Cole swerves to join the Elite then Danielson arrives and he get two massive names at the top of the card. I was so worried Adam Cole would stay in WWE as I really wanted him to move to AEW so I could watch him weekly and here he is all because WWE wouldn't give him a Twitch account, madness. Anyway the top of the card for AEW is on fire and I cannot wait to see what is happening, all the new matches by adding two world class talents. I am ready.
Full disclosure I started this review here at the conclusion because I needed to note down my thoughts that were immediate and reinforced by a second watch as I wrote this up. This is one of the greatest wrestling PPVs of all time, that isn't up for debate that isn't a hot take it is a fact. Everything fired on all cylinders to create a historic show. I feel sorry for the people who decided the pledge some sort of weird loyalty to WWE so they can't enjoy this. What a show, what a company, what a night. Damn it must feel good to be Elite.
