Ramblings of an Englishman

I woke up about 2:30 in morning the day I write this. Nothing unusual there I don’t sleep all the way through the night I’m use to the interruption. I normally check the time, check my phone to see what my friends in America have said while I’ve been asleep. Today is one of those days you dread, I woke up to the next that Benjamin Satterley known to many as PAC has sadly passed away, he was only 40. PAC is a unique wrestler, a tremendous high flyer but managed to adapt to a mean in your face style to add to that once he turned heel in his late WWE run as Neville. Somehow regarded as one of the best in the world and also one of the most underrated he never felt out of place and often was a highlight of what you saw.  I found a weird kinship with his gimmick as The Bastard. A stern looking person who walks around with a scowl and really only likes about 5 people who even then he doesn’t change tact to. He felt like me but was actually talented and I believe we’ve both been called ba...

Man it's weird how time goes. Feels like All In was just the other week but no it's a month and we are back for another AEW show. Aw dude, take me back to Wembley I miss it so much. But the passage of time is undefeated and we are now in Chicago for All Out. I quite like this card it's a real fall out from All In vibes big 2000s Backlash feel here to me and that's no bad feeling. But let us see how the show on the day holds up. Tailgate Brawl With PPV’s back to Saturday for the rest of the year we get Tailgate Brawl back as opposed to the Zero Hour. These normally have bigger or more booked in advance matches. Not complaining that I saw Big Boom AJ in an 8 man tag match at All In but some of the matches here were announced over a week in advance. Jack Perry vs. Katsuyori Shibata  So this is what we have for the return of Samoa Joe? Gutted he wasn’t at All In he’s one of my all time favourites probably second behind Kurt Angle so I’ll remain hopeful for Dynasty & Dyn...

I wanted to give it a few days to collect my thoughts and feeling not rush into hyperbole but oh man what a weekend. It is always a great weekend when AEW come over the England in August and this year All In was brought back. On top of this RevPro also went all out with their biggest show yet the day before for their Anniversary show and held it right next door in Wembley Arena. It's a big expectation on the weekend with two big venues.   And man, that shit delivered. The weekend delivered big matches, big moments and memories forever. It is kinda insane to have seen 10 title changes over two days but I won't complain. It's really nice RevPro wise as I have been going to the Live in London shows and been more invested into the company then I have beforehand so the real pay off I got for this show was even more then when I use to just do a handful of shows a year. Connor Mills finally putting 6 years of hurt to bed to beat Michael Oku and become Undisputed British Heavyweigh...
