Should the Miles Morales Games Take Inspiration from the Comics?

This was meant to be uploaded in December 2021 but for some reason never did. Please take that into consideration when reading. Personally to me Miles Morales is a more engaging Spider-Man overall then Peter Parker. Maybe it's a recency bias or just the face I loved into the Spider-Verse but Miles feels like such a good character unique enough that he doesn't fall into the massive shadow a character like Peter Parker would have. However, the one issue I have is the Spider-Man mythos doesn't have a lot for Miles to call his own. Antagonists like The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus etc are all associated with Peter Parker it makes more sense when you look at how the Miles Morales game created a new version of The Tinkerer in Phin Mason (a younger gender swapped version of the original Phineas Mason which I think they should incorporate into the comics) instead of being able to pull a ready made villain. Compare that to the Sinister Six from the first Spider-Man game all classic

Quick Thoughts: AEW All Out 2022

In a changing landscape in the wake of Vince McMahon's removal as the head of WWE it has lead to that weird group of people on twitter that fed on the lies of Vince McMahon now want to feed on the lies the new head of WWE in Triple H says. It's odd but whatever gets them the attention they want, it is still fuck the Fed hours over here. While my interest in wrestling isn't at a high at the moment I still expect the entire show to be great if not a little too long looking  Zero Hour AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship Match: Jericho Appreciation Society (Tay Melo and Sammy Guevara) (c) vs. Ruby Soho and Ortiz AEW seems to have a hold on some AAA titles, the tag team titles of the promotion are currently held by FTR and the Mixed Tag Titles held by Sammy & Tay. While not the big upgrade in opponent Eddie got it is good to see Ruby on the show I just wish she'd win more big matches. Sammy & Tay getting jumped was a fun way to start. I Finally Get The Hype In Xenoblade Chronicles

Spoilers for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 After 3 games I finally got it. I finally got Xenoblade Chronicles, I never clicked with Xenoblade 1 and I did eventually complete 2 after the difficulty sliders were introduced. I think it came down to how I could never get the hang of the combat but that has changed with Xenoblade 3, I think it came down to having 6 other part members to help and cover my weakness in the gameplay. I also found the love people had for the games to be well founded the scope of the games always felt large and contained a rich narrative each time. However, this time above all of this something clicked with this game. Maybe it was the emotional end to chapter 5 and start of chapter 6 or the fact the full main playable cast was there pretty much from the beginning so I have more time to get use to them but something clicked, emotionally with this game. This maybe because it's the third game (well technically the fourth) in the series and with each game the studio can

Arsenal Summer 2022 Transfer Window Review

As ever in the close of one football season to another football clubs will look to strengthen their teams with new recruits and that is no different for Arsenal. Finishing fifth it was clear that reinforcments were needed if a place in the Champions League was to be acheived. Here I look to break down all arrivals and the majority departures (with some of the academy loans also discussed but not every release and loan out as some have never had an impact on the first team) that Arsenal have made during the transfer window, where I think they'll play and my hopes and expecations with a final review once the window slams shut.  Arrivals Marquinhos - São Paulo - Winger - Undisclosed Fee Kicking off with the first signing of the window. Young prospect Marquinhos was brought in as one for the future. At only 19 years of age he took to life in Red & White very well at under 23 level scoring in his first two appearences. As of my initial writing the player is still with the club with
