Where do Arsenal go now?

Can I be honest with you? I don't really want to write this. Maybe it's because of the involvement for the Super League or Kronke bleeding the club dry of its identity or just years of draining the care I have but I just do not care for Arsenal anymore.  For the record I started writing this just as I finished writing the post on Yakuza and how I love that because it gets me to care and went into typing this to the opposite a soulless team that through its actions on and off the pitch has stopped getting me to care.  Arsenal have just given a soulless performance and got knockout of the Europa League semi-final to Villareal because they couldn't score at home. A few years ago I wouldn't be gutted, crushed and not wanting to speak to anyone. Today? I was joking my brother would be throwing a strop over it while I just didn't have the want to care. So here we stand for the first time in 25 years I believe Arsenal will not be in a European competition. I want to look a

Why Yakuza became one of my favourite video games series

Before I go into this please watch the video from Super Eyepatch Wolfe for a large analysis and thoughts on the series as a whole as linked below. If not obvious spoilers for the Yakuza series below and throughout.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJVJX6G9cCA   For me the narratives I enjoy are those driven by characters. To follow a character over the course of many instalments and see them grow. I can't think of many forms of media that have engrossed me in their characters and their world as the Yakuza series of games has.  The first six games feature around Kazuma Kiryu and reformed gangster who is associated with the Tojo Clan where he gets constantly sucked into plots and schemes to kill or destroy the clan. The series runs this in parallel to Kiry's main aim to leave the yakuza for good and start over all this while trying to make it out alive while powerful clans and enemies come for his head to make his own legend.  While many who have not played the games would expect

Does Impact Wrestling have a problem with keeping and showcasing talent?

It's hard to imagine a wrestling landscape without Impact Wrestling. Formerly known as Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Impact has been active since 2002 at various levels at it's peak a viable alternative to the WWE with a fresh roster and a unique identity to at it's troth a chaos of managerial mistakes and money blown. It could be argued up to the formation of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) or New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) expanding into America that Impact was the number 2 company with TV deals all over the world including being the company to really look at breaking into the Indian market for wrestling before WWE put the belt on Jinder Mahal for the same reason.  However, something is just off with Impact to me. The majority of the promotion just feels like it's missing something. I feel this is due to the overall roster and how Impact finds itself in a wrestling landscape. Some of the talent I really like and will cover later but I think they suffer from being a smaller fis

What's Next For The Belt Collector Kenny Omega?

Image
On April 25th 2021 Kenny Omega once again made history at Impact Wrestling Rebellion. With winning the Impact World Championship, Kenny Omega became the world champion of two separate companies at the same time (3 counting Mexico's AAA). While not a unification match like 1988 SuperClash 3 where WCWA Champion Kerry Von Erich lost his belt to AWA Champion Jerry Lawler in where the WCWA Championship was merged into the AWA Championship here all these belts remain separate around one man. It got me thinking where does this go next or where does Omega go next. Before I delve into possibilities I do need to state I am a fan of Kenny Omega. I feel a lot of people dislike him to get hits on social media but I can understand he isn't everyone's cup of tea. Regardless, to me Omega is one of the best around currently and that's reflected in what will be a legendary career when all said and done (if being world champion for 4 different companies in 3 different countries isn't

What is Next for Kingdom Hearts?

March 28th 2002 was the day in Japan that the first Kingdom Hearts game released. While over the course of the rest of the year it means we have a marker and that 2022 is the 20th anniversary for Kingdom Hearts. You could argue this comes at a good time, the Xehanort saga is done and Kingdom Hearts can start a new saga. However, I feel that 2022 could be the most pivotal year for the series. But first let's break down the current situation.  Union χ as a game is coming to an end and being shut down relatively soon to the time of writing this and the same with Dark Road set for an end in September 2021. This in what I hope is an end to crucial lore being in Mobile Games and while we await answers to the questions these games pose I feel it makes sense to look at where we stand with what we know. Sora has ended up in the realm of Unreality (because it will be a cold day in hell before I use 'the realm of fiction') with 'Yozora' or someone who takes the form of Yozora
